So I am trying to download a shipping label for a toner from Brother

and I am in a loop. Have to actually enter the serial number of the toner - new? old? and to offer an "alternative email address?" and them was facing: "An unrecoverable page error has just occurred

We are so sorry that our site was unable to produce that page for you! We have been notified to begin working on the issue immediately. We hope that you will try the page again by using the left or top navigation.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience!

(And got some ink on my - thankfully only my hand. Have lots of alcohol soaked towelettes around)

I kinda remember a shipping label used to be included with a toner box.

And what really bothers me there is no "contact us." Last year I got a new printer, did not know how to scan. And a very helpful rep helped me with downloading a driver. I would be lost now.

So, yes, took their "survey" gave them an F.

Sometimes talking to a human is required to solve an issue.

I just Googled "brother support phone number" which led to this page:

http://www.brothermall.com/customerservice/customerservicetechnical.aspx

Last week I spent 45 minutes on hold with tech support of a company, only to solve the issue myself while waiting to talk to someone. Often I wonder if they make it so difficult to actually have a conversation with a person in order to encourage the use of whatever automated system they have concocted.
