Mozilla seems to have disabled add-ons, attempts to download them don't work
Et tu, anyone ?
All of my extensions are marked as "___ could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled".
Trying to remove them and reinstall them gives "Download failed. Please check your connection."
EVERY single add-on on the Mozilla page does this.
2 hours later, I found https://github.com/mozilla/addons/issues/978, which is
a current discussion of the problem that people have discovered in the last 3-4 hours.
I can attest this just recently happened around 10 pm Central, on my 2 computers running Firefox.
I have Opera as a back up browser, so can change over to that.

(62,656 posts)Mozilla acknowledges the problem. A site certificate expired as of 00:00 May 4, 2019.
All extensions disabled due to expiration of intermediate signing cert

The addon store needs to fix their site.

(60,011 posts)I'll check back to the add on page in a couple days then. When they get it fixed, will our extensions be working, or do we have to download them again?

(22,997 posts)On my Android tablet, Firefox plugins were disabled, but here on a Windows 7 PC, they're not disabled, but show "There was an error downloading..." updates for Wappalyzer, Adblock Plus, Clippings, and NoScript.

The other hotfix is hotfix-reset-xpi-verification-timestamp-1548973.
In my case, one PC has the fixes and I'm still waiting on other computers.
