Big brother watching?

I am using a desktop iMac. Spouse is using a MacBook and connects to the Internet through WiFi from Comcast.

I have seen it before and again this morning: On Facebook I see an ad for an item which... spouse has been looking recently. No, not an ad at the margin but in the center "sponsored."

iPv4 is the same

Public iPv6 is the same for the first four groups but different for the next four. It has 8 groups separated by :

No Local IP on the MacBook perhaps because it is connected via WiFi while my desktop is hard wired to the cable.

And for both it says ISP: Comcast Cable Communications.

Your wifi router has one external IP address and 255 internal IP addresses.

The shared external IP address and all the third-party cookies is definitely feeding the ad systems lots of data based on all the internet activity happening in your house.

iphones? Your iphone/smartphone listens to your conversations when not in use... I don't have one but I have discovered that others get such ads after we have conversed on certain topics that they never discussed previously. Just sayin'.
