Macbook pro with Microsoft excel question

while working on a spreadsheet today i did something on the touch pad that shrunk the size of cells and font.
I can manually resize font but would rather just resize whole spreadsheet. Any idea how this is done?

...controls the magnification... Slide it to 100% or greater.
