Don't like Windows 10? Make it look like Win7.

I've seen numerous posts, both here and in the big forums, from folk mourning the demise of Win 7.

There is a solution to the new and annoying start menu: Classic Shell.

This is a free program that allows you to tweak the appearance of the start menu to look like Win 7 or even XP. You can also customise the way Explorer windows look and function.

I've used this program for many years, even before Win10. It's stable and low resource and runs very well on 32 and 64 bit systems.
Personally, I really disliked both Windows 7 and 8 and kept XP for far longer than advisable. I was happily surprised by Win10 - it's the best OS Microsoft has produced so far and extremely usable - once you install Classic Shell.
