Twitter Password Reset Link Sends me to a Page Saying it's Reset, without a Password Change Prompt.

.

After numerous attempts to open support cases with Twitter, they just keep sending password reset links.

When I click on them, it takes me to a page saying that my password has already been reset. I am never prompted to change my password. I get into this loop where I submit a ticket and I get another password reset link, or reply to the email saying it doesn't work only to have another reset link sent that doesn't work.

Ive tried both Firefox and Edge browsers.

Has anyone experience this before or do you know how to resolve it?

When you ask for a password reset, Twitter sends two emails: one with a reset link and another saying that a password reset was requested and if a problem reply back. If the link fails, you are on a page that says your password was already reset. There is also a link to reset your password again. When you do that, it sends another pair of emails, just like before.

The key is to keep replying to the same first email thread case number. They ignore the first several emails to a case, and if you go to the request password link, you start a brand new email chain and go to the bottom of the queue.

So, the key is, when the first 3 resets fail, just keep replying to that same email chain and you rise to the top of the queue.

Their tech people send me a separate email, and that link worked.
