How and where to upload photo from phone to host to DU

Pardon me, I know this has been answered but I did not find it. Thank you.

I have a cheap Moto Android and my photos are under camera (until they aren't, but that's a problem for another day).

Click on "Choose Images" to upload from your photo library. After that happens, copy their direct link to the uploaded image. Then you can paste the link at DU.

In postimages, after clicking select image, nothing happened so I minimized postimages and opened camera, selected the image and received many options but nothing to upload or copy. Just FB and Googlish options.

Thanks. I usually email to my notebook and upload from there but my DSL has been down a week. I'm pleading frustration rather than idiocy.
