Any one else having trouble with Gmail and Firefox ?

I'm running FF101.0(64-bit) for Windows (8.1) and I keep getting this message over and over:

The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Clicking on the "Try Again" button as many as six times fixes it, so it's not a "real" error. This started a few weeks ago, IIRC with the previous release of FF, but I don't have the same problem with anything but Gmail.

But that was early this morning. I'm on a different system where I need to run Chrome.

And I'm on a Mac. Saturday FF upgraded itself and when I logged into my gmail I got a message saying I wasn't recognized and needed to answer security questions. So I did and provided my alternate email address which I use on a different browser. It was all a PITA but got resolved. But since then, every time I sign into my gmail on FF, I get a message at my other email that some unrecognized computer has signed onto my mail. Security alert!

So, sometimes FF seems to go overboard with trying to protect us. Be sure to keep alternates available on different browsers.
