Nefarious JustAnswer remains as a Google result - harmless but irritating

I'm still hoping for advice on this portion:
What I need help with is this: every time I try to Google something, the first result is a JustAnswer question box. It causes no harm but it pisses me off every time. I can't figure out how to get rid of it. I just cleared the 75 JustAnswer cookies and it didn't help.
Can you help? I'd be grateful.

(17,641 posts)In the Basics tab, click Advanced under Sites to Search to expand the Sites to exclude section. Click Add under Sites to exclude. Enter the URL you want to exclude and select whether you want to include any pages that match or only that specific page.

This has been another lesson in Using Common Sense. May I learn from it.

i see that it was Chrome extension. this is not enough. you need a virus check.

Ask your neighbors if they have a person they trust. Some of my advice is easy for technically inclined person. I am Apple inclined, not Windows.
Some things are both Mac and Windows. so i have the theory, not every Windows technique
