I've had A.I. up to my eyeballs!
Technical level: above average. Beginners beware.
Ran across an article: Blocking AI-related articles on Hacker News
https://www.kvakil.me/posts/2023-04-09-block-ai-articles-on-hackernews.html
I have a love-hate relationship with Hacker News in that I love to hate it. I use a script to block out the AI-related articles because my goal is to be the last AI-unassisted programmer, like the John Henry or Garry Kasparov of programming.
(userscript and installer button at the link)
Why? Because on Hacker News, there were 32 or more AI-related articles listed in the PAST FIVE HOURS.
This is greatly facilitated by a userscript runner,

How To Install, Use And Write A Userscript: A Tampermonkey & Violentmonkey Tutorial
Has links to Tampermonkey (works with Google Chrome, Opera, Microsoft Edge, Safari) and Violentmonkey (available in Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Maxthon)
Tampermonkey for Safari seems to be $2 in the mac app store. Deferring judgment on that. (I mostly use Opera and Firefox)
Greasemonkey had to alter its API to keep up, so old scripts apparently have to be rewritten.
Trying out Tampermonkey with Opera.
I'm looking forward to an AI-free browsing experience on Hacker News. (
