(6,465 posts)Hard no. Basic Photoshop hasnt changed much over the yeaers - a few new features but the core engine - curves, hue, saturation, sharpening, selection, etc etc have been in place for decades, but we are supposed to shell out 60/mo? forever?

One subscription program I recently took advantage of was Adobe Portfolio. It provides free web hosting provided you use their software to create your website. It'll make up for the price increase ... a little.
