She's a legend. The story goes she was the first one to come up with the term "computer bug" when she actually saw an insect causing a problem in a main frame.

Somewhere I have one of her nanoseconds and a bag of picoseconds.
I wrote my first compiler in the 1960s. Did several more commercial compilers over the following 20 years. Hopper is one of my heroes.
