iPhone: can't view YouTube videos

So I am now signed into YouTube on my iPhone. I go to DU and want to view an imbedded video in a post but get a YouTube message that I need to sign in to ensure I am not a bot and to click here to learn more. I click but the video disappears from the post. I no longer am able to view ANY YouTube generated videos in DU. Please help! Thank you in advance!

I thought I had it fixed after doing an update. But it returned. I have found it helps some to reboot the phone. But it may not go away completely. Most of the time I can refresh the page a few times and it will work. Sometimes I leave the page then come back and it works. I noticed if a YouTube video is embedded in a tweet it will work. I don’t know if it’s something caused by a iPhone update because it used to never do it before. Or something changed at YouTube.

corner of the video and it will bring you to the youtube site itself rather than watching embedded on the DU page.

i’m on an iphone…ymmv.

This just started recently. I don't know what changed. I figured it was some YouTube fuckery TBH. I never log in to YouTube.
