"Sign in to confirm you're not a bot This helps protect our community."

I get this error whenever I click on a video on DU. The problem is fairly recent, maybe a few weeks.

Any fixes or workarounds other than "watch on youtube"?

Will work. This seems, as far as I can figure, to have started on a recent YouTube update.

It is a YouTube problem. Apparently it's been going on for at several months. It's not restricted to DU, but to YouTube embeds anywhere. And it appears to affect people randomly. There seems to be some speculation that YouTube is A/B testing it on people.

Nothing to do with DU.

I’ve been successful hitting it again, watching a short ad, then the video.

I told my IPAD I wasn’t a Republican, I thought that would prove I wasn’t a Bot.
