Who is familiar with AI programs? Specifically for cartoons/characters
I am usually against AI but have been trying to find an illustrator for a children's book series for years and now I think I can manage it with AI.
I sketched out the backgrounds, so I am using my own art in that respect. I was wondering if there's a good app that can generate a "character" and then I can place them into the sketch art once I scan it in?
Does that make sense?
That way, I can keep rights to all the art as well as the stories...and FINALLY try to get them out there!
Any ideas?
Please be gentle with me and techspeak! I am only as good as my 50 year old brain allows! LOL

(702 posts)To visit a site like https://nightcafe.studio and begin learning how to use the tool.
In this environment, one need only present it with a prose prompt to generate artwork. As in most computerized undertakings, there are numerous tweaks and fine tunings that one can perform.
One interesting side note that I have discovered is that the prose AI CHATGPT understands how to create the prompts that will make the nightcafe engine produce what you want after you have discussed it with chat GPT.
I have been playing with it for a few weeks now and have begun to create many pictures which I find fit my description very well.
As an illustrative example, here is a prose prompt, and then the picture which the engine generated in response to the prompt
