Can a 2Wire wireless router from AT&T be configured to work with another provider?

DSL and Cable are very different ways of doing things.

(2,243 posts)I do tech support for a little ISP in SEK and we have several 2Wire DSL modems configured and serving our DSL customers.
One of our field techs was able to reconfig a 2Wire to be a WAP on the customer side of our wireless CPE, but that's more than we were able to support over the phone.
