I have a new desktop that I will be starting up later today. I was planning on downloading Maverick, but will read through these pieces first.

2. I just...upgraded. So far, nothing has really changed.

It's the most "silent" upgrade I've ever had. Been two days and nothing is noticeably different - just longer battery life and a general snappiness. Then again, I don't use iOS so the new integration is irrelevant to me. No complaints, though!

The wife complained that the new iTunes won't play Quicktime mpeg files, so just have to convert those songs to an audio format.
