I downloaded what I thought was a video viewer and now Firefox has been taken over by search.hmynews

wire.com with a Fox video on the opening page

How do I get rid of search.hmynewswire and get Firefox back?

a special video player, or flash player update. If you ever see that flash player upgrade needed (even though it's probably not needed) go straight to the Adobe site and download flash player, but be careful to unchecked any concurrent downloads of McCaffee or whatever.

that my computer has been hijacked. Which is why I almost never download anything, because I can't figure out what will take over my computer and what won't. It's very frustrating.

of getting her podcast to load. I was thinking I should not do this while I was doing it. The worse part about the hijack is a Fox video comes up on the opening page.
