Sorry for that...

I think it's interesting that if you clean out your history in Safari it says it will remove the cookies also. Go to Safari preferences, privacy and voila!! all the cookies are still there. Remove them and wait, wait.... boom they return. Not all of them mind you, just the popular ones.. Google is tough to remove. It just keeps on coming back even though I have no google products open.. They really REALLY want to track you..

I wonder if you have Safari sync'ing to iCloud (and it's screwing up). See if the iCloud preference panel has Safari enabled?
