It's a redirect cookie. Once you delete Safari data, you'll be fine.

On only DU. Mostly if you can get past the home page fast enough your ok for a bit.
Deleted history several times but it kept coming back.
I finally started using a different browser than safari. No more problem since then.

I quickly tried a couple of others
It seemed fine on duck duck go &
Opera let me open a post or two without the pop up problem
But start page it went right to the pop up
