Well time for me to consider replacing my macbook

yup, the keyboard is giving up the ghost. It is just oh eight years old... and right now using the external keyboard.

I will see if my local third party has any used\ reburfished. If not, will look at small dog electronics... (Mr. Hartmann used to be a sponsor). That is how I got my Macbook that is now starting to fail here and there... quite frankly if I get a refurb machine that is a tad old, they work... and I have missed just how many hardware updates?

I know though that we will need a larger drive... the bigest we can afford... for all them pesky photos, even if they are backed up in thumbdrive and deleted after three months...

But why refurbed? I can save north of 300 on a machine... that makes a difference. I also noticed they have refurbed IPADs, so when my IPAD gives up the ghost...

You can upgrade the drive, too. Have done both to my MBP.
