It hurts MS users feelings when anyone brings up Ubuntu, Mint or really any flavor of linux/unix as a reasonable alternative to the MS capitalist tread mill so they snark at ya. Funny ...I guess they know they spent their money on shit that they will forever have to keep spending money on. Meanwhile I can take almost any old obsolete box I have and run linux. It used to be that gamer's had good cause to use a MS custom gamer box but with the Sony PS3-4 there's no need to do that anymore. Well at least one of my old $400 video cards from the MS days works well with Ubuntu.I always knew linux would be on top ...goes back to the days when someone made a driver for a 3com 10 baseT card so NASA could network.

That a big name like Valve is producing their own Linux based OS and game console, especially since the XBone is flailing in the market so badly.

With Valve, Desura, Humble Bundle and now GoG.com all supporting Linux and the surge of big name titles like Civilization, Borderlands, Metro, The Witcher, Company Of Heroes and Total War all either out or soon to be released as well as highly anticipated titles like Star Citizen and Beyond Earth being confirmed means that Microsoft is going to have it's consumer base eroded pretty quickly as the family geeks and gamers start switching over more and more as they are the ones that make the recommendations and buying decisions for allot of their friends and family, most of whom have no explicit need for Windows.
