Barack Obama

The gender factor made all of the difference in this election and we did it! Overwhelming support for Obama/Biden 2012!
Obama has had our back and we had his. And we still do! All of this "scandal" nonsense is falling on deaf ears among the women of this country who really want the change he is bringing. The GOP is getting nowhere with this BS. We don't want to hear it! They are preaching to the choir - brainwashed Fox News people - who are dwindling every day. The days of old, rich, racist, sexist men running things is coming to an end. Kudos to the men who voted for Obama in 2012, also.
Sisterhood is powerful! Let's continue to support PBO either refute or ignore all the lies and innuendos the GOP/RW media is propagandizing to bring him down.

(4,309 posts)I just love it. A very sane philosophy as opposed to the RW/Bush-era bullshit. I remember a Vietnam era anti-war slogan - "Girls say yes to a guy who says no." I think a lot of young men got the message that it was not cool to support Romney. To all the men out there who voted Obama/Biden - thank you!!!

(6,151 posts)But a few do. Sorry I can't work up a tear when I remember hearing one of them whine - in that case about immigrants - "It's like we don't matter anymore!" I tried to keep a straight face when I told him, "Everybody matters. But there are more of us than there are of you now, and that's only the start. You just can't rule anymore."
Believe it or not, I resisted asking him how tight that shoe fit on HIS foot now. I smiled like the sweet little saint I ain't.
