I'm savoring every bit of this.. 1 day a year is just too short to celebrate our actually being on this Planet Earth!

I was born at 9:04am in Denver, Colorado.. I guess I should say the year too.. scary alert.. 1944!

Your arrival in Denver preceeded mine by four years. Ta daa!

By the way, you share a birthday with my mother, who turns 93. She's pretty sharp, you don't ever want to play poker with her, and she'll still do just about anything for chocolate.

The Beatles are so good for us, such sweet memories! I watched their debut on the Ed Sullivan Show~

On February 9, 1964, the British Invasion began with The Beatles playing live on The Ed Sullivan Show in front of an estimated 73 million Americans. Ed Sullivan introduced The Beatles, and was almost immediately drowned out by the screams of girls in the studio audience. The Beatles continued to play twice that evening on The Ed Sullivan Show and “Beatlemania” had officially arrived stateside. The exposure of The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 became a touchstone event for an entire generation and for music lovers everywhere.

We were watching the TV with our mom. We were suppose to be in bed by then. Past our bedtime, however my mom fell asleep so my sister and I watched it. When mom awoke it was ending. Yikes she was so mad at us. We got in trouble~ but we saw history in the making!

On February 9, 1964, I turned fifteen.

I watched the Ed Sullivan Show at my BF Gloria's house. We screamed through the entire performance. (Her parents were less than amused). I thought it was the absolute BEST birthday present I'd ever had!!!

The perfect present for a 15 year old back in the day.. seeing the Beatles on TV! The "I Want to Hold Your Hand" guys!

I had the greatest post with Happy Birthday (and belated birthday) and my husband bugged me and I accidentally deleted it. (Actually it was PBO's fault), so.....he'll be over later to wish you in person.

A HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to our numero uno señorita! Actually I found this interesting and it makes sense.

"Did you know that saying 'Happy Belated Birthday' is incorrect? When you miss acknowledging someone's birthday you should tell them, 'Happy belated birthday wishes.' The individual's birthday is not belated because it came on the day it was supposed to. However, your wishes didn't come on the day of their birth.
