Cape Cod Times: …. President Obama arrived at Nancy’s Restaurant and shook hands with a couple of dozen people waiting to place their order.

The presidential motorcade arrived at the Lake Avenue restaurant shortly after 1 p.m. and Obama hopped out of an SUV, undeterred by a steady rain. He was upbeat and made a point of chit-chatting with customers and restaurant employees as he made his way to the take-out counter.

My Midwestern family used to go there sometimes on vacation when I was a kid. Remember being there in 1963 and finding the Kennedy Compound (the road was closed to the public, of course!) but it was exciting to see that legendary cluster of houses.

I helped at one of his 2012 campaign stops and was standing about 5 feet from him. I had my camera out but couldn't focus it because my hands were shaking so bad. Fortunately the woman beside me took pity on me and took my camera and got some great shots of him.

he's such a down to earth person. But, I'd probably lose it.

I saw that one guy in the vid lined up to shake his hand.. taking pics of the Prez?.. no problem! zip zip zip

I've never met a President. I think I could play it off as cool but my hands might shake a bit.
