The other night, when I posted an OP, from a blogger people seem to hate. I got called out on having been here only 10 months and have 7k posts. Like that matters or something. Well you know the CT of "paid posters" at DU~

liberal forum where all of us have known each other since the coup of 2000.

We make fun of GOPers, Paulbots, Tea Baggers, etc. At times we allowed trolls in to play with, but generally don't. We never fight or snipe with each other, so it's a safe haven. It's not hard with a tiny group. But there is little traffic there as most have gone to Facebook and Twitter. Which I don't do.

This is my information, news, chat, video, picture, and political views place. Even though it's been taken over and it's hard to get the quality of discussion we once had, some members are great. I can learn from people who have taken paths in life more diverse than most places I've been online.

Although DU's been heavily colonized by groups that don't support Democrats, the way DU3 is set up is more useful than any other site I've ever seen. That's why they are here, squatting and raising hell as their sites were not as capable as Skinner's.

Which shows he really knows what he's doing running a website, as it works for everything. I've read some of the ATA posts where he shows the things he's thinking about and I'm not the only one who is amazed at how he deals with complexities.

Few if any other websites have the features that DU has and make it easy for me to post what I used to post at other wehsites. So yeah, I got a lotta posts and post a lotta videos and pictures and links, which is what makes it fun here, despite some who desperarely want DU to suck.

It's not DU that sucks, it's the squatters who think they can just wipe their behinds on us and tell us to leave. They've found a website to use that they are unable to make for themselves. So they feed off the energy of DU like a cave full of vampire bats. Meh!
