Internet Dog Conspiracy: Sunny is evil.

Much as I regret posting a new thread when I'm perhaps a month behind in my reading, here it is anyway.

http://www.webpronews.com/obamas-new-dog-is-cute-but-apparently-evil-2013-08?utm_source=Life_sidebar

I didn't think it belonged in the Pets group because of the political overtones. What a bunch of loonies when a sweet little dog can be so maligned by those who hate her human family. I, however, wish all the Obamas the very best, and I'm glad they got a second dog to keep Bo company. I know my Molly Maguire's even happier now that she has Brigid the JRT to pal around with all day. I'm home most of the time but can't give her the same level of attention as another dog. She needs both of us. I feel free to state that Bo probably feels the same. Think how we'd feel in a world where we were the only one of our species, at least in our family. It would stink.

When it's love that makes us more human.

Well, I often say I hate the GOP too, and I do detest them personally. But I guess I don't really hate them, not the way the right hates us, because I might even feel compelled to protect them from a certain level of danger and I truly wish they could live in a good world with us. I just want to destroy their power to do evil. But I'm firmly convinced that half those people would really off us if they got a chance, and the other half definitely want to enslave us. No way that's not evil.

The hating mind has to grasp at whatever is available. The desperately hating mind grasps on to just about anything, no matter how absurd.

After all, what color was Bush's dog Barney? Hmm... then again, Bush did this, so maybe there really is a secret message inside the choice of dog-color

I've been slugging it out with the issue of learning to piggyback on a friend's weak wi-fi signal. Had terrible issues with the signal booster I bought. Finally this evening, after days of horror and agony - remember, I'm slow - it finally dawned on me that part of the problem might be my preference for the Chrome browser. Now that I've switched to FireFox, no more dropped connections in over an hour. Chrome would disconnect an average of ever 20 minutes or so.

I'm at least a month behind my Du bookmarks reading, but I will try hard to catch up soon. Meanwhile I'm off to the computer group to post this update, which most of them probably could've told me about a long time ago if they'd thought about it. Hey, maybe I'm not quite so slow as I thought.... anyway, I know that trying a different browser often clears up problems, but I was so miserable I forgot about it!

after the primary ancient Celtic goddess. Both my furkids are English breeds, so they really needed good Irish names. I tell them they're Irish, and they believe me. Funny thing is, most people think Molly Maguire's named after the popular lass of Irish lore, when she's really named after the militant early coal miners' union, the Molly Maguires. Some historians now try to claim they didn't really exist, but that would be news to certain of my ancestors.

I know it was somebody on this side of the political spectrum. No right wing moron has the imagination to come up with a theory that Sunny's real name is Sunni.
