(87,578 posts)I noticed in some of the pictures at MLK celebration that he is even grayer than he was two weeks ago.
The Presidents hair will be white by the time he leaves office.

(305,447 posts)at the end where he says:
"Part of our obligation as a leader in the world is making sure when you have a regime that is willing to use weapons that are prohibited by national norms on their own people including children that they are held to account."
You know he's determined to make it stop. May all the forces of good be with them in their decisions and actions.

(4,309 posts)And I believe President Obama is, as well. I'm confident he will do what is necessary to ensure security and peace, even if he must do it reluctantly. I certainly appreciate his measured approach to "war now, think later" Bush administration.
Cha
(305,447 posts)I realized that with a very heavy heart and responsibility he feels he has to do this. I just hope they can do it with the precision they want and it actually accomplishes their objective.
He saw first-hand the disastrous results of the Bush rush-to-war strategy and, to his credit, he opposed it from the start. The video is actually very moving. The ultimate objective is peace, and I believe President Obama will move forward with that objective primary.
