I've pretty much given up on alerting to nasty posts, here or elsewhere. Here we'll get faster action going through the hosts. When bad posts go through the jury process, you can bet the general membership is so clogged with nihilists and even outright plants (I don't mean the green kind) that little if any justice can be expected from them.

I still agree to serve on juries and have quite a few; however, NOT A SINGLE ONE has been adjudicated in a suitable manner. At best I can hope for a draw. We're wasting time and breath to complain outside the BOG, which makes me even more determined to beat the rats' asses when they sneak in here! The best and fastest way to do so is go straight to the hosts. You can count on them for swift justice. We need to be their eyes and ears, though, since they can't be everywhere and see everything all the time by themselves.

the feeding frenzy regarding PBO has been going on since 2009. It just subsided a bit during campaign and election time.

The difference now with DU3 is that we do have a Barack Obama Group on DU that is safe from the usual whines and gripes.. whether they believe we have the right or not. They can rudely intrude but it doesn't last too long.

In the BOG's latest incarnation we have a feature called "super powers" and it gives us the ability to block those who come here to disrupt.

My personal way to deal with GD is just to use that other wonderful feature the Admins set up for us called The Trash 'em function! Which is what they should use for the BOG instead of whining about our Group and insulting its Members.
