The Lying Little Bitch From Tennessee (cross-posted from GD by yt)

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by stevenleser (a host of the Barack Obama group).

Note to self: remember not to ever take no for an answer, or failing that, don't accept as correct the first answer the first person gives you.

My 3 monthly prescriptions are pretty sky high to the point of unaffordability in my case, so I set about trying to find a program somewhere that would help. On the pharmacist's innocent advice I called one of the manufacturer's directly after being told that might be the most efficient route.

Well, this little Tennessee receptionist with a voice that sounded sweet as melted butter told me that ObamaCare had disallowed the ENTIRE class of meds I take from being covered under any assistance programs at all! Said a lot of people were being thrown off those rolls, even her dear parents (cue violins). Her company couldn't help me and neither could anyone else, so sorry! I thought to myself, hmmm ... strange the pharmacist didn't say anything about it.

So meanwhile I made a few other calls including to an agency in my state, then waited until I thought it might be lunch hour for the receptionist at the pharmaceutical company (I didn't know exactly what department to ask for) because I wanted to talk to at least a second person on some level. A truly nice young man, a junior assistant of some kind who covers the phones at noon, told me an entirely different story.

Apparently the little bitch lied like a turkey at Thanksgiving!

He said he'd overheard her talking to me and that she knows better but she lies to people because she hates everyone and everything to do with ObamaCare. He's been trying to get her to stop lying to callers, because when she's at work where it reflects badly on the company among other things and causes undue suffering and distress at worst. I got the distinct impression her job might not last too long. I invited him to tell his manager(s) that I'd checked out her answer to me earlier and that he's not the only person who resents her lying.

Actually, I said tell them I wish a pox on her house. And I think I'll call those people back in a few weeks and see if he's been able to get rid of her, because heaven or hell won't stop her from lying when she wants to. She might think her position's secure if she's related to someone at the company or sleeping with them, but at some point it won't protect her. If she's still there, I'll simply tell her I've called to speak to the company president, and then no matter where on the ladder my call ends up, I'll blow the whistle on The Lying Little Bitch From Tennessee.

Oughta be a country song in there somewhere.

At any rate she's going to find out how unwise it is to lie to the Irish, because at my age I know a helluva lot more than she does about how to bitch.

A jury of mostly hypocrites just got my post hidden in GD. Don't know when the hounds of hell will come looking for it here, so I'll post two of my replies (1 in time, 1 too late) to the GD hordes. I said:
.................................................................................................................

No difference between the two terms, really. Just a matter of gender. It would only be sexist if I implied that all women are liars or that there's any difference in trustworthiness between genders. Which I did NOT.

Therefore I consider and pronounce the material entirely bias-free.

Got an answer for that, my dear? Better make it a good one because my Irish is up right now and I'm taking no prisoners.

First, read my post #11.

Then ask yourselves, can you truthfully accuse me of either?

Then ask yourselves whether you've never been driven to such a point of righteous outrage as I was?

Finally, ask yourselves where this sudden outrage of your own over MY language comes from, because I sure as hell don't hear much complaining anywhere from any of you about the Anglo-Saxon term for coitus that many people fling around here with impunity.

In other words, don't make yourselves hypocrites.

on- Sarah Palin or Hillary Clinton. Let's see what they would call Idi Amin or OJ Simpson- they are so awful, any word is fair game, right? Go for it, Irish.

What she did was not just unprofessional it was dangerous, immoral and unconscionable. You got my dander up, too. Give her no quarter.

And if your post gets removed again, just re-post it again after you've calmed down a little and can use less inflammatory language. (Not that even more inflammatory language would be any less appropriate to use, imho. What a f'n b!)

is the safety of the honest young man who outted her. If he covers the phone at lunch, he can't be too high on the pecking order and I wouldn't want to endanger his position. I do want to contact the company and am willing to divulge its name a little later, but I feel indebted to him and therefore don't want them to be able to trace the truth-spilling back to him.

Suggestions?

Normally I don't divulge the contents of private DU mail, even the rare nasty ones, but BettyEllen seems to be wearing herself out that way this evening even after I told her to bug off. Is that harrassment or what?

Anyway, to save time let me post here my self-explanatory replies to 2 of her nastygrams:

I said:
...................................................................

Would you then perhaps prefer the term 'prick' when it applies to men?

If any grown woman throws up her hands and cries for smelling salts, she needs to step into this century. I DID NOT SLAM ALL WOMEN BY APPLYING AN ACCURATE TERM TO ONE BAD ONE. Your argument is not at all logical. If we followed your train of thought too long, we'd wind up not being able to say anything about anyone no matter how true.

FYI, SCOTUS officially declared the term I used - bitch - to be legally safe from accusations of libel or slander because technically the term refers to a female dog. If it passes SCOTUS muster, it's usually good enough for me.
==========================================================

Raising accusations of possible racism against me in the bargain will not improve your argument at all. The term 'fuck' is likelier to offend more people than the term 'bitch' ever did. You have no room to squawk.

BTW, don't bother me any more with your hypocritical messages to my inbox. You're not welcome here. Bug off.
==================================================

Besides, where's all this outcry against the Anglo-Saxon term for coitus that floods half the posts in DU? No high horse for you, my dear.

And yes, I am copying all this stuff in case the pie-holes (you don't mind THAT term, do you, BettyEllen dear? I mean, you're not overweight at all I hope or else you'll use it against me.)

Just not liking one thing someone says does not give you the right to open your umbrella of outrage to include all sorts of other accusations that suit you, re: the comparison of 'bitch' to the infamous N-word. That souds soooo McCarthyish.
