The truth about the ACA, from 2010! What media refused to show!

President Obama Makes Surprise Call To Gail O'Brien

Uploaded on Sep 22, 2010

President Obama made a surprise call yesterday to Gail O'Brien, a woman in Keene, NH, who is benefiting from the Affordable Care Act, which was passed six months ago today. Gail was previously uninsured and diagnosed with high grade non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Thanks to the new law, Gail now has insurance through the new Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan that will pay for her treatments, and she is responding very well.

That was September 2010 before the midterms. Want to talk about conspiracy? What was on the air the entire year?

The Tea Party and their astroturf protests about the horrors of the ACA and Death Panels, etc. is what all the cable networks went with instead of telling the truth, giving Americans some information they could use.

The 2010 elections were a set up from the Koch brothers to lie about the ACA, fast track Keystone and keep the Bush tax cuts. That led to the Sequester and all the rest. And we are still fighting the lies about Obama and Obamacare after all of this time.

Hear is what I have to say. So many deride Obamacare. It is not single payer. It's not good enough. Well you know what, it is the best that could have come out of this effing do nothing congress!

You know what it is a damn good start. Damn! It Rocks!

home for medical expenses. Seeing good people die when their lives could have been saved. Feeling less than human.

What does the GOP call a person in that situation, who did 'all the right things'?

Losers, parasites, moochers.

How many people have died, been humiliated, lost all they worked their lives for?

Too many to count. Families ruined and hearts broken. So the greedy could profit off them.

They are eating people alive.

See you later...

What they will do for themselves and call it righteous is disgusting.

Watched this video, as well as "Angels In America" tonight, and am fighting mad about the selfish hypocrites going by the name of Republican.

Projection, that's what it is. Conservatism is the most godless concept on earth.

One time when I was visiting a friend at a care center, the living room was crowded with residents watching a Democratic convention opening on tv. Someone turned to me and gasped in wonder: "I didn't know Democrats prayed too!"

Well, many of us do, but not to the Dark Side. That was one of the dumbest things I ever heard anyone say, and believe me, I've heard just about everything at some time or another.

12. I prefer 'healthcare' to 'choices' so the right will understand. People are dying for lack of it...

In the red states where Medicaid was cut off, where Medicaid dollars were refused for clinics that did not need it for abortions. Biggest myth is that money was used in early term abortions, when a 'choice' is available, not late term when the life of the mother is at stake.

Many women are able to have babies due to the services that PP offers. But even the life of the mother doesn't matter to zealots. They sing songs and write pieces of heroic moms who willingly die to save their unborns, or so they say, although both can die.

My grandmother died two days after her twins died in childbirth, leaving six children motherless. That can be excused in the era it happened. But not today.

But you cannot get through to fanatics, their hearts are made hard by many means. And they are willing to interfere with the lives of people they never met due to their 'faith.'

Fact is, they are the ones without faith. They are looking to their own salvation, purchased with the lives of others. Because they have a magical belief that if all people were forced to live by their belief system, God would spare them their own sins.

EOM.

13. Yes it is all about healthcare.

Remember the woman from India, Savita who died in a hospital in Ireland last year? She was miscarrying yet the hospital denied her an abortion "as long as there was a fetal heart beat". I had to look up the article to find her name. Yet the details are etched in my heart.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/14/savita-halappanavar-death-irish-woman-denied-abortion-dies_n_2128696.html

I was raised in the Episcopal church and was active there until my teens. Then I started questioning some of their teaching. Yes it was far more liberal than the Catholic church, yet still restrictive. I now pray in my head in my own way and it comes from my heart.

It is the fanatics, their blind faith, and it is blind, that is so unnerving. As you said it is not faith at all. It is what they hold onto, to pretend to themselves and the world that they are righteous. They cloak themselves in a mantle of hate and they hide there, yet they are transparent.

They are indeed blind, they seek Heaven and all they will ever see will be everlasting Hell.

Whether they like it or not, Obamacare is the law, it is working and it is damn well here to stay.
