President Obama to Dems: "Keep your powder dry!"

Last edited Fri Feb 7, 2014, 11:44 AM - Edit history (1)

EDIT FOR THE SAKE OF POTENTIAL LATECOMERS TO THIS THREAD:

NOTE THIS IS THE BOG. A GROUP, NOT AN OPEN FORUM. WHILE YOU ARE WELCOME TO POST WHETHER A MEMBER OR NOT, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT THE GROUP'S MISSION IS TO SUPPORT THE POLICIES OF PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. If you want to question his policies, you're more than welcome to do so - ELSEWHERE. Either PM a BOG member or post your thoughts in the appropriate place; another forum or group. I'm not a mod, but I am quite familiar with the local rules, and I am an ardent supporter of those terms. Thank you.

Very interesting. Despite some differences, Democrats must keep pulling together, not tearing each other apart.

I'm not a mod, but I serve as eyes and ears all the same. No question what's about to happen in very short order.

As for 'bites', they don't scare me at all because I kick worse than the proverbial mule.

13. It's incredible that

type of talk is even allowed on a Democratic site, isn't it? I can understand voicing whatever disagreements one has with the (Democratic) President's policies, but getting all hyperbolic and personal like that is really uncalled for here.

Have a heart on me. And please don't post disagreements, even if valid.

12. Someone here at DU posted some improved labor and environment sections in the treaty.

On the whole, the treaty is a mystery and speculation by media is driving people crazy.

Reid and the Democrats can discuss this with Obama and hash it out, pass it, or not pass it for the good of the nation.

The Russians and others do not want the USA to get any of the Asian trade and everyone's propaganda is at full blast. The treaty needs to be debated in the Senate.

But after the national hysterics and grandstanding over Syria leading to WW3, the public doesn't seem to know the difference between gotchas, propaganda, policy or what it takes to get things done.

Rest assured the Fauxheads will hate the treaty no matter what, only thing is, the owners of such networks do want the most onerous sections of the treaty. They don't tell anyone that, no more than they tell the truth about Benghazi, etc.

PBO is thinking long-term and the American people think in sound bites and are prone to believing anything they hear about him, no matter how many times it's debunked. I don't see much commentary based in the real world these days, mostly it's out of a B&W fantasy playbook.

Yet our president is expected to do right for a nation full of people with little idea of how laws are made, how many branches of government exist, or other such basics. They run on gut and not brain.

I wish the link had specifics, it was too short, Irish to really sink our teeth into. The fussing is just knee jerk. Perhaps next time you post an OP here you might want to sus one of my reminders like this:

This is the BOG which has a SOP that is supposed to be read before posting here. It is a safe haven for those who support the President and his policies, and respect him and each other. We do not have to accept abuse.

15. I'll be glad to do that, dear friend; but trolls are gonna troll no matter what we do.

Until they're kicked to the curb, that is. I don't personally believe they pay the least bit of attention to warnings. Otherwise they wouldn't continue to do their dirty work.

As to the article, it was really at least as much if not more on the subject of unity. And I thought it was long enough to challenge the trolls' attention span. They're only looking for a few key words to latch onto and beat everyone else over the head with anyway.
