I have eight cousins and twenty-three second cousins, all on my dad's side of the family.... all but six of them were born in August...

After a while, my grandparents gave up buying birthday presents... they gave everyone money.

For years they tried to keep up with birthdays and Christmas... everyone got money except for the under 10-year-olds, and they sent money to the parents and they bought the present.

Don't think the ones with birthdays in other months got any different. My grandfather was adamant about not making any difference.

We've always thought all these birthdays in the same month were really strange!!!!

fond of my writing anymore, either, she~ I love to type, the smileys and every thing that goes with that. But I've been sending a lot of snail mail cards(birthday, thank you, new baby, anniversaries.. one all the way to the Philippines, ..& friendship!) lately.. deciding I and others appreciated old school now that the e-mail thing has been so prevalent for so long.
