He defends Obama in a way I've never heard. And he may be writing a book about Obama's last year in office - being there with him to observe it. He's promoting "Liar's Poker" and was asked about the president being seen as "liability". He'd written an article on Obama for Vanity Fair.
As Charlie tried to bash Obama, Lewis resolutely and with a smile offered his wonderfully insightful description. When the interview comes on-line, I'll post it here:
