For all that has been tossed in his face, the racist hate. The ridicule the disrespect of the President of These United States...
He still the man that is doing his job. What are you doing?

They are favorites of mine as well. Defeated, no he has more strength and spirit, grace and determination than any person I know. How he does it, I have no clue.

(26,290 posts)I can always count on you to pick me up when I get down.
I think his grace is what I admire most about PBO. Many people see that as weakness, but I think it is a sign of a strong spirit and his sense of rightness. To stand in rain delivering a speech speaks volumes about him: he did what he came to do despite the circumstance...and isn't that what he has done in every area? The republicans have rained down and stormed on every single thing he has tried to do, but he moves on with grace and accomplishes as much as he can. Personally, I would have slapped most of Congress and spit on half of the Supreme Court. I appreciate that he hasn't.

(305,440 posts)were defeated. That was the craziest damn thing they could have done. They let the gop set the narrative and were forever defending it in the most odd ways.

(5,376 posts)And as Captain Picard liked to say--Make It So.
Sheshe, can't thank you enough for this thread, and I'm truly grateful for all those weighing in to voice their support for our President. We're privileged to have him at the helm, and while I'll never understand those who are determined to destroy him, I truly believe it is they, in the end, who will fail. Let us stay strong in our resolve to have his back. Our nation is at stake.
Blessings to all.

(10,757 posts)If the party can't take that and make a conclusive case, it will be difficult for any democratic candidate. Hedging bets and beating around the bush certainly didn't do anyone any favors this time around.

(4,309 posts)I still support President Obama 100%!
I have no doubts that the Republicans will soon show their true racist/sexist/big business colors and the people will regret putting them in office. People will wake up by 2016!

(17,276 posts)Face the Nation this morning. Actually they can all just please go away. They only want to act like smarty-pants and put Obama down on the flimsiest evidence. Please just go away.
He's either too bold, or not bold enough or whatever their standard is. Whatever he is doing, it is wrong! The only people listening are the ones who want to agree with them anyway. What a waste of space.
