(17,656 posts). . . can identify with President Obama a lot more than they could have identified with other US Presidents.
They "get" what he is talking about.
They understand that what he is saying isn't just lip service.
They know that he isn't just saying these things to get higher ratings in the polls, because they also know that he can't get re-elected again.
President Obama should let it all hang out these last 2 years, and do more of this kind of thing with other leaders from other countries.
I think it will raise their level of respect and trust for this country if he does.
And damn, after Dubya's 8 years of incompetence, we need more of that everywhere!

At the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica, the President delivers remarks in a meeting with CARICOM, April 9, 2015.
This must have been another part of the meetings, just before he flew to Panama for the Summit of the Amercias.
