1. There are plenty of black comics. What we need are more black elder statesmen.

Colin Powell blew his chance to be one with fifteen minutes and a vial.

Besides, what would be cooler than a black Chief Justice?

may seem like a big step down, but just think about it. how cool would it be for him to have experts on to take down the republican lies du jour. and nothing destroys a thug like laughing at them.
he could be the next jon stewart. sorta.

there was a rumor around chicago recently that they plan to live in new york. i hope that means he is hoping to have some sort of media presence.
i also hope it is not true. there is plenty of media in chicago. oprah's studio is up for grabs.

i am a little disturbed that the library decision has yet to come down. there is another rumor that it will be here in chicago. but part of the sneed rumor was that ny was getting the library.
everything is in place here for the library. hoping to hear soon.

i have a plan to be a docent if it is here. i really need a hobby.

and PBO.

Holder is going to pursue racial inequality. PBO...may join. Sorry haven't been able to find the article.

They will be doing stellar stuff.

I am in awe to see the next chapter.

Rare and brilliant. That, to me, is Barack Obama: an elder statesman, rare and brilliant.

DUers do mention the SCOTUS, but that is a whole different lifestyle than what he's used to. I think he'd be good at that gig, but would he want it? Also, first there has to be an opening, then a nomination, then getting it through Congress.
