So this is only a farewell to the BOG.

It was sounding as if there were about to be a mass defection, which would have made me sad.

I have to say though, that I am really relieved that the Primaries forum has opened, just so I can avoid it 99% of the time.

Ha! I also finally put a certain person with awful sig-line animations on total Ignore, and my mood improved immediately.

Pretty sure we will be on another, my friend.

Are they going to close the Kerry, Gore, O'Malley groups too? And any other group linked to a specific politician?

That would suck.

I don't understand why BOG would be closed - he clearly isn't a candidate in the upcoming prez primary.

This was my first home when I joined DU. I was a host here and just came back to close the door. Just saying goodnight and turning off the lights.

He was the right man at the right time and for that we owe him much. Thankfully, he and Michelle will continue doing good work.

Yeah, I guess its time to retire from the room. Still - good memories of sanity and continuity in policy, major accomplishments...sigh.

I hardly ever said a word, but this was where I used to come for solace. Just reading would make me feel better.
