Let's Finish what We Started.

The noise that surrounds us these days, can be deafening!

I try to tune it out the best I can.Many days it is difficult. I am well aware that others at DU feel as I do.

I ask a question of those that are, well in a word, bashing this President.I ask you what you want him to do to get this fiscal cliff debate resolved? He is not the only player in this. We have a GOP congress and so very many negative members in the senate.This country is ruled by laws. The President does not rewrite the laws of this land at a whim.

Do you want our President to rewrite our Constitution? Do you want him to declare himself Supreme ruler? You wish him to become a dictator? An oligarch? He can not pass these laws alone. He must first abide by the laws of our Nation.

Go over the cliff, maybe. I have read many different scenarios . Some say it could cause great harm. Others say it would not.If we do...

I want our President to stand up, as he said he would. In front of this Nation during his State of the Union address and declare that the GOP'ers are a traitor to our recovery. Traitors to this country.

I support my President to do what is right for this nation.

Let's finish what we started. Let's do it together. As one voice we will become a stronger healthier nation.
