I'm feeling pretty smart today

After John McCain's infamous "That one" remark in one of the 2008 debates, my letter to the editor was published.

That one

Decades from now an aging millennial will walk with his grandson through the nation's capital, recounting the history he lived. As they pass a gleaming memorial, the lad will ask how America was able to regain its greatness after decades of decline and darkness. The old man will point with a knowing smile to the imposing marble figure and say, "That one."


I know we're only halfway there but today really reminded me of this

His comment today that the president wasn't "conciliatory" enough makes me want to send him a rotten fish and sea slime sandwich.

And I will never forgive him for what he and Graham did to Susan Elizabeth Rice.
