New Jersey man does a Walter Sobchak on some cars
A man who allegedly wanted to get revenge on his ex-girlfriends new man accidentally went to the wrong house and caused $10,000 worth of damage to vehicles on Sunday, South Brunswick Police said.
Ajinka AJ Kelka, 20, went to a house he believed was where the man dating his ex-girlfriend lived and started vandalizing the cars parked in the driveway, according to police.
A family member inside the home heard hissing noises around 1:15 a.m. and came out to see the five cars parked in the driveway completely damaged, police said. The Jeep Wrangler had obscenities scratched in to its doors and fenders, and tires slashed and roof stabbed. The other cars also had the tires slashed and scratches on the sides, up to $10,000 worth of damage.
After reviewing the homes surveillance video, police identified Kelkar as the suspect with the knife vandalizing the cars on the property. Kelkar was arrested at his home later that morning.
