Amy Klobuchar should be on the 2020 Democratic Ticket.

Klobuchar is a 3 term US Senator from MN- a swing state in the Midwest.
Klobuchar has won all 3 of her US Senate races by a landslide margin.
Klobuchar has won every Congressional District in MN including Peterson's Republican favored district.
Klobuchar can win all of the Clinton 2016 states- 232 plus MI-16(248),WI-10(258),and PA-20(278).
Klobuchar is more experienced than Mayor Pete Buttigeig and is not old as Bernie Sanders,Joe Biden,Michael Bloomberg, or Elizabeth Warren.
Klobuchar US Senate replacement will be a Democrat. MN-4cd US Representative Betty McCollum-D.

Anyway, TBH, I don't see Bernie choosing Amy to be his VP... though I spose it's possible. Elizabeth would be a better choice for Bernie to make... we'll see.

Bernie/Elizabeth or Elizabeth/Bernie 2020!!
Either way, they're stronger together & can't be bought!!
Jump on the Bernie Bandwagon & join The Revolution!!

They are the future of the party. Their appeal is to intellect and sane governance. Very little pandering, as far as I can tell.

I agree with your points. Unlike Bernie and Biden, she isn't pushing 80 and she hasn't been defined like they have been. Progressives would support her and unlike Bernie, moderates would too. Maybe a running mate from.the southeast southwest.

...if a vacancy arose. McCollum would be a terrific choice, who would be very likely to win the election that would follow in 2022.
And Betty McCollum's CD4 is a safe Democratic district, so we'd be sure to retain that house seat.
