(8,617 posts)ME(Collins-R vs Gideon-D) and NC(Tillis-R vs Cunningham-D). Winning both of those seats would have put Democrats in the majority without the GA seats.
1/5/2021 is Democrats 2nd opportunity to regain control of the US Senate by winning both of the GA seats (Ossoff-D and Warnock-D) Democrats need a strong GOTV operation in GA.
In 2022- Democrats are going to win all of the Democratic held US Senate seats up for re-election in 2022 including AZ(Kelly-D vs Ducey-R), NV(Cortez Masto-D vs Sandoval-R) and NH(Hassan-D vs Sununu-R). Democrats will pick up PA(OPEN Toomey-R) if Fetterman-D or Shapiro-D are the nominee. To get to 50 seats, Democrats need to win WI(Johnson-R) if Barnes-D, Kaul-D, or Godlewski-D.
