Bernie is getting 10K 20K 30K 50K 100K at all his rallies. A simple question. Where are the votes?

(2,032 posts)That's what we used to call good pot. Now that it's been commoditized I'm sure it's got some Starbuckian names.

(1,473 posts)Half of these kids aren't going to rallies to vote they're going for the party atmosphere otherwise he'd have the votes...either that or they are totally unimpressed with him and leave believing the old man has lost his mind and either vote for Hillary or stay home and play video games in their parent's basement .
The rallies (to these kids) are mainly to party and fraternize. 'Bernie Sanders' is merely the latest fad. By next year, they'll have moved on to something/-one else. That's why the reasonable ones among us didn't give the nomination to the flash in the pan.

(11,417 posts)"revolution" they had no interest in politics. Bernie promises them the world yet doesn't explain how you have to go about getting there.
He's a guy who has been in congress for 24 years with little to show for it.
Bernie went for campuses were he could get large crowds and ignored us older people and people of color. So he gets a large group of one voting block with not a good record of voting. That's why he lost.

(1,446 posts)summer, and my old high school friends are about 40% Sanders, 30% Hillary, and 30% uninterested. The problem with many is that they have finals next week, and several have said that they will vote "if they can".

(20,347 posts)That would explain why just weeks before every election, we've seen a sudden huge influx in the "Wait, I have to REGISTER to vote?! That's fascist!" and "Why don't I get to vote for the Democratic Party nominee even though I've never been a registered Democrat a day in my life?" idiots.

(42,456 posts)She has reached out and talked to voters, listened, addressed very specific concerns. She alsocover the broader concerns.
Sanders, will his huge rallies, addresses a limited group of concerns, the same ones, over and over. It's not that they don't vote, IMO, it's that his people like rallies. There are simply not enough of them to win. They were fooled by the numbers at the rallies into thinking there were.
