I voted last Friday but hand delivered my ballot and my wife's ballot at the Pacific Beach Public Library in San Diego.
Permanent Vote-By-Mail Voting
Any registered California voter may become a permanent vote-by-mail voter. As a permanent vote-by-mail voter, you will automatically receive a vote-by-mail ballot for each election. To become a permanent vote-by-mail voter, you must complete an application, which is available from your county elections official, or you may use the California Vote-By-Mail Ballot Application.
Your permanent vote-by-mail status will only end if you do not vote in four consecutive statewide general elections.

(96,147 posts)Hannah-Beth Jackson for State Senate!
Demographics: Hillary Clinton and Hannah-Beth Jackson (a real local party stalwart) are the only "white" people in the group. Salud Carbajal (another local party stalwart) is the only male.
Just sayin' there's some glass ceilings being broken all over the place.

(96,147 posts)I zipped over to the Presbyterian Church (some years it's the Lutheran Church) filled in my ballot and got back home.
It seriously torques me off that some states in the US devote themselves to suppressing the vote by making it damn near impossible to actually vote. There's no excuse. Ohio, I'm talking about you.

(836 posts)While I was in line, the couple next to me asked for a provisional ballot. The Democratic booths were all full (I had to wait a bit), but there was plenty of room at the Republican booths!
Sad to say no one exit polled me. There was no voter suppression, Bill Clinton did not block access to the door, it looked like they had plenty of ballots, the machines were working fine - OK, my ink dotter thingie kept unscrewing itself. I somehow managed to deal with it without coming up with any unhinged voter suppression conspiracy theories.
