I hope that Hawaii sends her packing, although that is unlikely to happen in 2016. But if she continues like this, she will find herself isolated and with very little clout.

@notcharchar I've had enough of the Green Tea Party.
AJ @MoncadaJr14
@notcharchar exactly. To see them tear down our first female nom and first black POTUS was the worst thing of all.

(4,187 posts)With this kind of behavior, she's going to ensure that she never gets any valuable committee assignments in Congress. By making outrageous statements that get her on national TV and win her the adoration of die-hard Bernie supporters, she's ensuring that she can't, in fact, be in a position to help Hawaii in the long term.
How do people there view her, Cha? Do you think there is any way they'll replace her with someone more reasonable?

She's my Rep but I emailed back that I want no contact with her.
We have two great Senators here and then there's gabbard. Maybe she'll talk herself out of office.

(521 posts)One of the BernieBros' complaints about Hillary was that she 'seems too hawkish," and here we have Sanders surrogates advocating bombing people. These people are such hypocrites -- another things they have in common with the Tea Party.

(3,284 posts)I've heard a lot of praise for Tulsi Gabbard among BS followers, which is strange; many of her comments directly contradict his positions.

(57,495 posts)and she's a supreme opportunist, which is why she quit the DNC and joined the Sanders campaign.
She thought he was going to win and she'd maybe snare VP or at least a cabinet post.
How many Dems do you see bashing a president from their own party? She's done this repeatedly in the past. Maybe that's why she fitted in so well in Sanders campaign.

She is a horrible person, whom I bet money will flip back to R as a carpetbagger someplace stateside, where she can win as a rabid R.

(96,535 posts)she isn't too bright.
The main motivation of the slaughter in Orlando was gay hatred. Religious fundamentalist thought may have had influence, but it was primarily gay hatred
Perhaps her past gay bias and Islamic phobias are a motivating factor in critisizing the President for not trying to fuel a religious war. Her candidate, Bernie Sander's is aligned with the president on this
Perhaps she should consider the Trump campaign. In fact I would not be surprised if she came around to that way of thinking
