"Has Hillary Clinton earned Bernie's support?"

is one of the threads on the last day of the old GD-primaries forum. My answer to that is that she has earned the Democratic nomination by winning millions of more votes and hundreds of more pledged delegates. I've come to the conclusion that while yes--I would love to have Bernie endorse Hillary--that if he continues to drag his feet she can win with or without his "blessing." And while I would love to have all of his supporters vote for her (and I believe most of the sane ones will) that we can win without the "Bernie or bust" crowd too. Finally if some of his die hard supporters want to have "fart-ins" and "hassle lines" at the convention that is their right but it will only make what began as a worthy campaign look ridiculous in the end.

Get with the program or not. But quit the whining and the self-aggrandizement.

I think BS supporters would have demanded an endorsement from Hillary long before now.

the primaries and has won the Democratic Party nomination. She won over some of his delegates who are Democrats in heart and soul, and she's received the endorsements of the Democratic President, Vice President, and none other than liberal firebrand, Senator Elizabeth Warren - who had been their last hope.

Hillary's more than earned his support, and if he can't give it, he should quit the Party - and all those committees that gave him a semblance of relevance in the Senate.

His support looks very soft. You would've thought more of them could have turned on their computers at the very least

And any decent person would give it.

However, she doesn't need it, and his support erodes in influence with every passing day. The very vast majority of Bernie voters realize that Hillary is the candidate and support her.

The few BoB people left never would have voted for her, won't vote for her, and can't ever be convinced to vote for her. Therefore, efforts are best spent elsewhere where voters can be convinced.

Sore losers want to weaken her. This impulse is behind every stunt every day til convention.

They are very obvious. Plus they are Trump apologizers.

Will sanders support Clinton?
He may.
I am not sure that he has made a decision abut it.
I am not sure that it matters.

11. It's possible that, by the Convention, Sander's support will mean very little so, no....

Hillary deserves much better than the support of Bernie Sanders. There are lots of votes available to Hillary that Bernie has no control over. Far better to spend time and energy on those groups.

Judging by the interview with the BOBs on cable news, they appear to be fully indoctrinated in a cultish way. Sanders has filled them with a hatred of Hillary that seems part of them now. I don't think they will change if he supports her or not. I think the best that we can hope for is that they stay home in November.

She won by EVERY metric.

She has been endorsed by just about everyone, from the President on down.

People who've been AFRAID of voicing their support for her, are afraid no longer.

So yeah, have your silly fart-in, and whatever. IT DOESN'T MATTER because she's got this, with or without the BoB crowd.

and the Sunday morning shows. I avoid them. I asked him today if they are saying anything about Sanders. He said that he heard no mention of Sanders at all. The man has become irrelevant, as he deserves.
