Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumGeez, you would think Clinton was indicted.
Watching MSNBC coverage, you'd think a tornado had hit the Clinton campaign. The consensus so far is that Comey's comments were politically devastating and that Clinton is in serious trouble. Said one analyst, "It's going to haunt them throughout the campaign."
Thoughts?
UPDATE: After many minutes of 'the sky is falling' coverage, correspondent Ari Melber stated that the no-indictment finding and the Republican House committee's findings last week of no misconduct on Benghazi are essentially two wins for Clinton. In part because the central question has always focused on possible indictment by the Justice Department, and on the fact that the Benghazi report was written by Republicans.

(7,965 posts)It will be spun out by the media for a day or two until another thing comes up and grab the headlines. I am sure Donald Trump is going to be providing them the opportunity to focus on something else soon

If the M$M would stop reporting such crap, people might actually start paying attention and realize that not only is she the MOST honest and best qualified candidate of ALL (and has always been), she is incredibly well-liked by her supporters, who happen to constitute a LARGE majority of Democrats, a good number of Independents, and a LOT of Republican women who are quietly under the radar.

They want viewership. Disasters increase viewership. Win/win for them. Ratings generating advertising dollars is all that matters.
Hillary supporters...
The "underground" is also those who are not taken in by the M$M and its propaganda.
The "underground" is also not some lock-step echo chamber, antiestablishment, burn-it-all-down "rebels" hell-bent on destroying progressive, liberal, Democratic gains in pursuit of "perfect" ideology.
We understand we live in a drifting-right country, and we have to take our stands in supporting realistic, achievable policies and candidates.
Given where we are in America, that is hard enough, and plenty 'left'!
So true...they need to find a way to save face so they're grasping at straws. I'm so tired of the witch-hunt.

(6,444 posts)We ought to start that hashtag!!! We know it's a witch-hunt from all sides! We are not buying. And they're looking ridiculous in the process!

(3,284 posts)I've never seen a more brazenly obvious witch-hunt in my life. How many times has she been investigated, only to be totally cleared? It would be laughable...if only it wasn't so completely disgusting.

(24,630 posts)as if there was a 90% chance Hillary would be indicted. Hell, one of MSNBC's talking heads actually asked her during one of the debates what she would do if indicted!
These GHOULS should be hanging their heads in SHAME for spreading the LIES and engaging in the media HATCHET JOB they've waged against Hillary for well over a year. But they are gutless, disgusting assholes who will never admit to being wrong, let alone being vindictive. So, they look for any scrap of negative info they can find to continue the smear, even as the FBI says explicitly that there is no "there" there.
I will be avoiding all TV media for the next few days as they roll out their lame CYA postures that they feel exonerate them for being so wrong.
Fuck them.

(3,284 posts)They've 'indicted' Clinton time and time again, with no proof of wrongdoing, while they give Trump a slap on the wrist for doing far, far, FAR worse.
It's stomach-turning that they continue to do this, unabated and without consequence. And it's infuriating to listen to reporters speculate on why "Americans don't find Clinton trustworthy", when they are the very reason for this distrust.

(3,284 posts)When I first saw the headline, I thought, "FINALLY! it's f'king over!!!"
Then I started watching MSNBC. I KNEW they'd find a way to make it look bad for her, especially since Andrea Mitchell was commenting (along with some other Repubs), but I didn't think they'd spin it quite this badly.
Thank god Ari Melber was able to interject something sane.

(53,684 posts)I don't care what they're on about. It is invariably inane and dishonest. There really is no functional difference between JPR and a right wing site.
noooo...not the Super Delegates again... What's their angle this time?

Gee, I guess they were wrong, and no doubt they will continue to spew "how rigged" it was, just like they did when Hillary was winning key states, but ignoring the most important thing:
