Anyone catch Mara Liasson's ridiculous NPR report on the Comey statements?

As you probably know, she has been a Fox News commentator while also working with NPR for years, and the NPR ombudsman has blown off legitimate listener concerns about her.

She outdid herself just now:

--echoed the "it's definitely not over" and "haunt" themes
--claimed that "few" Democrats thought otherwise
--claimed that this result is just another example of why "Americans don't trust her" (many don't, but the cause of this is the Republican attack machine)
--spent several minutes talking about Republican reactions and focused on Trump's and Giuliani's remarks (which were as ill-informed and biased as you would expect, but Liasson raised no questions)
--quoted no Democrats or non-partisan legal scholars who had consistently predicted that there would be no finding of criminal behaviors, etc.

It's all about truthiness with her.

Abysmal and so transparently obvious in her bias.

And this goes back several years. What she was saying on npr in the morning mirrored right-wing talking points I had heard lampooned on the Stephanie Miller Show the day before. I pointed that out to them ... more than once and was told each time that she was a professional journalist.

I'm not surprised that she was Fox News talking points again today.
