Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumI am so damn sick-and-tired of this woman : "Jill Stein shreds Sanders' Clinton endorsement"
Go away, Jill, your one of the biggest pains in the ass since Nader. I used to sort of admire her (barely) but now I just plain cant stand her. Anyway, from politico *sigh*
On the same day Bernie Sanders officially endorsed Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination and declared she will make an "outstanding president," presumptive Green Party nominee Jill Stein was having none of it.
"If you don't want to vote for a war monger or racist billionaire, there are more options. The political revolution will keep going," Stein tweeted in the hour preceding Sanders' announcement alongside Clinton in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Jill, there is no revolution behind your campaign. 4% of the vote?
Unlike you, Jill, Bernie has half a brain cell and sees that tRump is a clear and present danger to our country. Hillary Clinton is the only candidate that can defeat Donald Trump as of right now, most of us were smart enough to see that Jill, but you are actively campaigning for him.

(2,897 posts)She's been trying to co-opt Sander's message and more importantly voters, from the beginning. Hell, she went all #HillaryforPrison after the Comey conference despite any reason other than gaining die-hard BoB'ers who were praying for an indictment. Jill Stein is thinking of Jill Stein and that means 15% in the polls so she can go to the debates and 5% in the GE so she can secure public funding for her next run in 2020.
At 327 electoral votes, she would have to win TX or NY to be elected and that is not even taking into account all the other solidly blue/red states that she would have to win.

She's MAD with rage and jealousy!
She thought she could land this hunk for herself!
Too bad, Jill. You lost. He went with the best choice.
She's never done a thing in her life--she has held the Green Party back for years.
You never hear about any primaries or discussions about new leadership in that party, because she is a little martinet who won't permit it. If they ever opened that organization up to change/new ideas, maybe they could get a little traction, but as long as Jill Stein runs it as her personal little fiefdom, they are going no where.
She never campaigns past New England--hell, she barely leaves the Boston suburbs except to interfere with debates when she enters races she can't win, and she is indulged by local broadcasters.

(4,532 posts)HE DID NOT GET BUSH ELECTED!!! Stop saying that. I'm sorry but its just not true. Gore won the popular vote but Bush rigged the whole thing. The supreme court has blood on there hands for that. Nader didn't help for sure, but you cant put the whole thing on his shoulders.

(28,833 posts)The Bernie thing is a last-ditch effort to attract attention to herself. When that fails, as it most certainly will, she'll drop in the polls just like 2012.

(28,833 posts)Johnson was polling near 10% in 2012 and ended up with 1% in November. Stein was polling in the mid-single digits and got 0.35% of the vote in November. Similar pattern most election years. They poll high until the conventions, then fade.
